As Girl Scouts, IDG means also celebrating Girl Scouts around the world who commit to serving their communities. These girls understand the needs of their communities, speak up for what they believe in, and seek to transform the world around them.



Girl Scouts who participate in one of the below 2021 events are eligible to purchase this exclusive International Day of the Girl patch, designed to honor their commitment to make the world a better place:



Girls Scouts Day of Action on October 2nd: Raise awareness of issues affecting girls by sharing information posted on Girls Scouts of the USA's Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.



Girl Scouts Change the World on October 9th: Meet some of the 2021 Gold Award Girl Scouts and learn how to make the world a better place for girls everywhere. For girls 4th grade and up (ages 9-18).



International Girl of the Day Girl 2021 Girls Speak Out on October 11th: Register for the girl-led roundtable discussion with UN Representatives and Partners on 'Closing the Digital Divide to Accelerate Opportunity.' For girls 7th grade and up (ages 12-18).
