USA Girl Scouts Overseas (USAGSO) brings Girl Scouts to the daughters of the military,
foreign service, and American expat families around the world and to girls in American or
International schools. An operating unit of Girl Scouts of the USA, USAGSO ensures that no
matter where American families move, they will have access to Girl Scouts. USAGSO
supports almost10,000 members in 85+ countries around the world.

Meet our Store Manager

Lauren has worked with USAGSO since early 2022. Lauren is a rockstar on our team, both
managing our finances in the Camp Zama office, as well as managing the USAGSO Girl Scout
World retailshop. Lauren loves to answer your emails and answer your questions, she
manages all orders and shipping, and takes all that information into account when she
works with our distributors.She loves helping Girl Scouts and volunteers get their uniforms,
gear, and Girl Scoutgoodies. Lauren’s favorite Girl Scout cookie: S’mores!

Where to shop?

Did you know? USAGSO Girl Scout World (our retail shop, based in Japan)carries over 1,200
individual Girl Scout items and serves the entire world outside of the United States.

USAGSO Girl Scout World stocks essential Girl Scout gear for girls around the world to
participate in Girl Scouts, but we can’t possibly stock it all! The Girl Scout Shop, the Girl
Scout flagship store in New York City (and e-commerce location in New Jersey
www.girlscoutshop.com) stocks all Girl Scout merchandise and because of space, can offer
more variety and sizes than USAGSO Girl Scout World.

We encourage Girl Scouts in military communities, embassies and consulates with
APO/FPO/DPO or US forwarding addresses to shop at The Girl Scout Shop based on
reduced shipping times and the added variety.Please remember to include the promo code

Minimum Purchase Order

Because we have one store serving the entire globe, USAGSO Girl Scout World has a
minimum order of $25USD. If you would like to place an order for less than $25USD, please
visit www.girlscoutshop.com or email us at overseasshop@girlscouts.org.
Minimum purchase order applies only to online orders.Purchases at our USAGSO retail
shop or community hosted pop-up shops do not have a minimum purchase order.

Shipping Policy

Don’t forget to plan ahead! USAGSO Girl Scout World will always do its best to fill your
order within 7 business days of receipt and sends orders via USPS, Japan
Post. All orders are shipped from Japan, therefore international shipping times vary. Once
shipment has been mailed, a tracking number will be provided to you, in order for you to
track your goodies!

Be aware that packages are often returned to USAGSO Girl Scout World due to inaccurate
mailing addresses.Please verify that all details are correct before submitting your order. If
an order needs to be reshipped due to an incorrect address provided at the time of
purchase, unfortunately additional shipping costs must be absorbedby the customer.

Insurance

All USPS orders are insured up to $100 dollars of declared value. This includes items being
mailed to DPO addresses and United States addresses. If you would like to insure
purchases over $100 dollars please purchase additional insurance by e-mailing
overseasshop@girlscouts.org. Please use the link below to view the USPS additional
insurance fee schedule.

USPS Extra Services and FeesOrdersrs shipped through Japan PostEMS (international) are
insured up to 20,000JPY. Additional insurance can be purchased. Please consult the pricing
schedule at the link below and then contact us at overseasshop@girlscouts.org prior to

Orders shipped via Japan post-Yu-Pack (domestic in Japan only) are insured up to 300,000 JPY.

Return Policy

Made a purchase that’s not what you expected? Don’t worry – we can help! We will gladly
accept most USAGSO Girl Scout World purchases in their original condition and returned
within 90 days of purchase.

To initiate a return, please email our customer service team
at overseasshop@girlscouts.org with the following information:
o Sales order number
o Item numbers and item descriptions being returned
o Quantity of each item being returned
o If an exchange sales order is needed, please include the new items, sizes,
and quantities, and make sure updated credit card information is in your profile

Purchases that are excluded from returns:
o Final-sale and clearance merchandise
o Opened Badge Kits
All return shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the individual making the
return. Refunded amounts cannot be processed until items have been received by the
USAGSO Girl Scout World Shop.

Unfortunately, shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, unless the return resulted
from a USAGSO clerical error. Please allow approximately 14 business days after we've
received your return for the refund to be processed. You can expect a refund in the same
form of payment originally used for purchase.

In Person Shopping

Want to bring Girl Scouts to USAGSO Girl Scout World to stock up on all our Girl Scout
goodies? In-person shopping is by appointment only, Monday – Friday. Please send a
request to overseasshop@girlscouts.org at least 72 hours in advance of your visit.

USAGSO Girl Scout World Shop is located on the U.S. Military installation at Camp Zama. Access
is restricted to individuals with access to U.S. Military installations in Japan. Guests are
invited to shop but will require additional notice to obtain the necessary installation
privileges.
